"Before making practical plans, we need to promote a spirituality of communion, making it the guiding principle of education wherever individuals and Christians are formed, wherever ministers of the altar, consecrated persons, and pastoral workers are trained, wherever families and communities are being built up...Let us have no illusions: unless we follow this spiritual path, external structures of communion will serve very little purpose. They would become mechanisms without a soul, "masks" of communion rather than its means of expression and growth."

Here at Our Spiritual Family Ministries, we promote what St. Pope John Paul II calls "A Spirituality of Communion". We see this as a desperate need in the age of digital and technological advancement.
As described in Novo Millennio Ineunte paragraph 43, "A Spirituality of Communion" indicates:
thinking of our Christian brothers and sisters within the profound unity of the Mystical Body
contemplating the mystery of the Trinity dwelling in us
seeing the light of the Trinity on the brothers and sisters around us
seeing what is positive in others as a gift for the brother or sister and as a "gift for me"
In paragraph 58, St. Pope John Paul II concludes by pointing the Church to look to Mary as the guide for our steps.

Our solution is to teach how to live in biblical community through The Spiritual Family Methodology.

Perspectives of living in Biblical Community include:
a life centered in Jesus Christ, who is Lord and savior
a sacramental life in the Trinity and being a reflection of the Trinity
receiving oneself and others as "a gift" and therefore receiving Jesus
our covenantal bond in Christ and living communion through brotherhood, sisterhood, and friendship
the commission to go and make disciples of all nations

The Monstrancea symbol for Communion

Our Spiritual Family Ministries' logo gives a picture of the methodology: the anatomy through which we can experience communion with God and one another and bear Christ into the world. The anatomy has its foundational structure yet, as a reflection of the infinite God, each new creation is unique and unrepeatable.
The symbols- Monstrance and Cross (for the ring and Body of Christ): representing our covenantal bond and the sign of espousal to Christ through the Eucharist and in the hearts of one another.
- Three circles (for a Trinitarian reflection): representing the love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as the model for a spiritual life of givenness, receptivity, and bearing fruit.
- Rays (for the pillars of a spiritual house): representing the hedge of protection for those within to be guarded and guided in Truth.
- Blue (for each unique spiritual family): representing Mary as the model of discipleship in order to bear Christ into the world
