East Valley Catholic Moms

I can honestly say my life would look radically different if it hadn't been for our women's bible study. Every week I come away very encouraged, inspired, and challenged to deepen my relationship with Jesus as a result of our conversation and study. This group has been founded on Scripture from the beginning, and I really think that is a huge reason why it is bearing such fruit. The conversations during Bible study often allow for personal anecdotes and sharing (which really fills my cup!) And because we have the foundation of holy Scripture, we are always drawn more into the truth by the Holy Spirit. The conversation is always life-giving! Through this group I have made new friends, deepened existing friendships, and even rekindled friendships from childhood! The group is always open to newcomers and the hospitality and kindness of the members and the host have been so meaningful for new moms. This group is more than just a bible study. It's a beautiful community. Moms and children of all ages come together out of a love for our Lord and each other. My children and I have a weekly place we go and belong and are upbuilt in Christ. From this group's inspiration, other events over the years have flowed out, including women’s nights, storytime events, children's ballet classes, summer activities, music class at the park, and even a retreat. Annie's prayerful, gentle, and enduring leadership and administrative gifts have been instrumental to this group.  I am so grateful she has listened and acted on the Holy Spirit's promptings and guidance all these years. She is truly building the Kingdom, and I have been so touched and encouraged to follow the Lord's will in my life through her example!
